The chateau is largely surrounded by 'English' lawns, hydrangeas and rhododendrons.  In front of the terrace on the the north facacde is a parterre laid in the 'French' style.

The secluded gardens within the old chateau walls are now largely laid to lawn with the exception of wonderful old fruit trees and rambling roses.

The old potager has just been replanted to provide a stunning array of cutting flowers and flowering vegetables.
